JO ANNE’S TEACHING PHILOSOPHY:

Everyone has an opportunity to become proficient at golf. You can develop a swing and a game that will be a satisfying fit for you. Desire and commitment are the components that make the difference between becoming a tour pro and a satisfied amateur golfer. The main keys to becoming proficient are: learning the basic fundamentals, learning to execute them properly and of course, practice. Practice includes knowing what and how to practice. It is almost impossible to do these things without the assistance of a professional swing coach.

BECOMING YOUR OWN SWING COACH:

As a professional, I will give you the knowledge and help you develop the ability to become your own swing coach. We will start with the fundamentals and how to execute those fundamentals properly.

From those basics, we will move on to using visual, hands-on demonstrations and video analysis. I will include some drills and exercises to help enhance your strength, balance and timing to strengthen the development of proper swing mechanics.

SHORT GAME:

75% of your score is related to Putting, Chipping, Pitching and Bunker shots. I will provide you with the techniques and skills and yes, creativity you need to become proficient in the short game.

THE REST OF THE STORY:

The rest of the story is mostly practice. But since playing golf does not just mean hitting the ball, I will also teach the means to develop a helpful mental approach, proper swing preparation and course management. Incorporate the sound fundamentals of your long game, the skills of your short game and a newly awakened mental acumen and you will have learned the art of golf.

I am offering to teach you, at your personal level, the skills you need to achieve your goals. You have the opportunity to develop a solid, respectable and satisfying and perhaps even a competitive game of golf.
